Kate Steiker-Ginzberg is a producer and attorney from Philadelphia. She is currently a fellow at the ACLU of Pennsylvania, where she works on voting rights litigation. 

Kate is also co-directing a documentary with filmmaker Fábio Erdos about life-without-parole sentences and second chances in Pennsylvania. As part of that project, she was honored to participate in Springpoint Partners’ "Learners in Residence" program, which fosters a community of individuals who are exploring new forms of narrative change.

Kate graduated from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law in 2022. She graduated from Columbia University in 2012 with a major in Urban Studies.

Prior to law school, Kate was a journalist and field producer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her clients included CBS News, 60 MinutesNew York Times, and Sports Illustrated. She covered the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Summer Olympics, the Zika epidemic, and the “Operation Carwash” corruption investigation.
